Since our formation in 2013, The UniCrew has taken part in many different events, ranging from performances, to photoshoots for magazine covers, to radio interviews. Here is a little look into what we've done over the years.
In the summer of 2014 The UniCrew was approached by a local Bakersfield bike shop. We had the opportunity to performing at their summer BBQ kickoff event in exchange for parts and services. Here is a link to their site: www.facebook.com/Boards-Bikes-Co
In the summer of 2016, UniCrew members Anthony Limiero and Tyler Ferris were able to compete in Unicon XVIII in San Sebastian, Spain. Unicon is a 2 week long international competition in which unicyclists from all around the world compete and ride together. The UniCrew was interviewed for and featured in an article in B Well Magazine, a local Bakersfield magazine about health and fitness. You can read the article here on page 28.
The UniCrew was interviewed on First Look with Scott Cox, the most listened to radio talk show in Kern County. It just so happened to be the birthday special of the host.
